REVIEW: Peg Lamp Clips Your Light Bulb Like A Tiny Bib

 

If you ever visit your friend’s apartment and find a clothespin this big hanging from the ceiling, do not assume your friend has climbed a giant beanstalk and took that as a souvenir.

This Peg Lamp concept is designed by Steffi Min for her industrial design senior thesis. It appears and operates like an clothespin, but its main function is to clip onto any standard light bulb. This design would save a lot of time changing a bulb and it minimizes the risk of broken glass.

Although the Peg Lamp is not yet being considered for mass production, at least it gives us an idea to slip a giant rubber band around two wedges of wood.
